Joseph Brown was born on 10 December 1647.¹ He was the son of Nicholas Browne and Elizabeth Leids.

He married Elizabeth Bancroft on 26 May 1674 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

He died on 16 October 1723 at age 75.
