The census shows Daniel S. Neal and Olive Brown.¹ She was born in November 1853 in Ohio.¹

She married Daniel S. Neal, son of Samuel C. Neal and Asenath Mathews, in 1880 or 1881.²

The census of 1900 shows Daniel S. Neal, 51, a farmer, and Olive Neal, 46, mother of one child, still living living at McDina, Peoria County, Illinois. Also living there was Anne Brown, born Feb 1814, a widow. She is listed as "mother," but was probably was "mother-in-law," as she was born in New Jersey, which was shown as the birthplace of Olive's mother. Both of Daniel's parents were listed as having been born in New Hampshire. I have listed Olive's surname as "Brown" on the basis of this supposition.¹

     Patience Brown was born before 27 June 1697 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Abraham Browne and Mary Hyde.

She married Elisha Smith on 25 March 1713 in Watertown.

     Patricia (Pattie) Brown is the daughter of Carroll Brown and Lucille Tourtillote.

She married Robert Pappenfus.¹

     Patricia Dorothy “Patsy” Brown was born on 17 March 1926 in San Diego, San Diego County, California.¹ She is the daughter of George Comings Brown and Dorothy Yale.¹

Patricia Dorothy “Patsy” Brown was an accomplished synchronized swimmer.¹

She married Raymond Otis “Ray” / “Ike” Boone in October 1946.¹

     Peter Hill Brown is the son of Donald Hill "Pete" Brown.

     Phebe Brown was born on 13 May 1688 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Josiah Brown and Mary Fellows.

     Phebe Brown was baptized on 29 March 1747 in Stoneham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Abiel Brown and Sarah Green.

     Philip Miller Brown was born on 18 November 1892 in New Ipswich, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. He was the son of Charles Severance Brown and Ruth Miller. He was graduated in 1915 from Harvard University.

He married Isabel Lodge Sailer on 22 February 1923 in Roland Park, Baltimore, Maryland.

Philip Miller Brown The package of 'old coin silver' (Nancy Sailer Brown has at least some of this) - flatware - was used by the Miller family in Salem, Massachusetts. A few pieces were my grandmother Sailer's and are marked Lydia Hendrickson and Batten. Carol's silver service belonged to the Brown family. Nancy's silver service - Sheffield Plated - came from the Miller family. The plated silver, marked Q.M. was 'acquired' by Brig. General James Miller (Uncle Jim) when he retired from army in 1906. (Nancy Sailer Brown has two tablespoons of this). Most of the old furniture came originally from the Miller House in Salem (now the Old Ladies Home) on Derby Street -- via the farm in Temple, New Hampshire..¹

He died on 28 December 1972 in Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey, at age 80.
