Releaf Whitney was born on 29 December 1756 daughter of Moses and Rebekah Whitney.¹

She married John Chever Woodward, son of Caleb Woodward and Hannah Cheever, on 11 December 1783 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.²

She died on 1 December 1827 in Newton, at age 70 . No name is given, but is described as "wife of John C. Woodward."³
