She married Calvin Galusha Coolidge.

The census of 1850 shows Calvin G. Coolidge, 34, farmer with $13,000 real estate, and Sarah A. Coolidge, 26, listed with John C. Coolidge living at Plymouth, Windsor County, Vermont. Also living there were: Calvin Coolidge, 70, with $1400 real estate; Sally Coolidge, 6; George Cheney, 21, unable to read or write, an "idiot;" Benjamin Sumner, 24; Lucia P. Phillips, 2; and Sally M. Phillips, 1. On the census page is written "President Coolidge's great-grandfather, grandfather, and father, with arrows pointing to Calvin G, John C. and Calvin.1
