She died about March 1884 in 260 Dudley Street, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, of peritonitis due to angina pectoris.3 She was buried on 25 March 1884 in Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, She was buried in same location as Marietta C. Woodward, centered about 7 to 10 feet in front of headstone. Lot #1543 Arethusa Path.4

Woodward, at 50 Clarence St., Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.2 31 May 1898, Florence Woodward was a bridesmaid, gowned in white muslin over pale blue silk, at the wedding of Miss Bessie Drew, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Drew, and B. J. Currier, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Currier, at St. Peter's Church, Brookline, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.3 The census of 1900 shows Florence C. Woodward, daughter, born August 1876, at school, in the household of Harlow E. Woodward and Susan E. Woodward, at 1 Dunreath Block E, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.4
As of 1902, Florence and George lived at 3 Sunderland Street, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, George was a newspaper man.5

She married George W. Priest on 17 February 1902 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, They were married by Adoniram Judson Patterson, M.G., Universalist Church, 84 Maple Street.5

Woodward living at 23 Falloway West, Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.7 Roys Elliot Woodward registered for the draft on 12 September 1918. His home was listed as 345 W. Newton St., Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Next of kin was shown as Mrs. George W. Priest. He was a reporter for Bradstreet, at 49 Federal St., Boston. He was of medium height, medium build, with brown eyes and red hair.8

The census of 1920 shows George W. Priest, 45, an oil salesman, and Florence C. Priest, 43, listed with Evelyn Gertrude Priest and Eleanor Parker living at 92 Newburg Street, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.9 On 15 February 1930, Florence W. Priest and George W. Priest embarked from Port Antonio, Jamaica, in the "Volendam."10 Arrived at New York, New York County, New York, on 4 March 1930.10

The census of 1930 shows George W. Priest, 55, a bond salesman, and Florence W. Priest, 53, listed with Eleanor W. Priest and Evelyn Priest living at 979 South Street, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. They rented their home for $60/mo.11

She married Roger Francis Bergin They had no children. The census of 1930 shows Frances C. Woodward in the household of Howard H. Woodward and Rebecca M. Woodward, at 5 Caspian Way, Boston.3



She died on 15 February 1994 in South Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, at age 82.1

     George Woodward was born in 1621 in England, according to sailing list of ship Elizabeth.1 He was the son of Richard Woodward and Rose ---(?)---.

He married Mary ---(?)---, as his first wife.2

He married Elizabeth Hammond, daughter of Thomas Hammond and Elizabeth Cason, on 17 August 1659, as his second wife, and her first husband.3

He died on 31 May 1676 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, .
(Midd. VI : 128) Inventory of the Estate of George Wood(ward) late of Watertowne, appr. 23 June 1676 by William Bond Senr, John Whitney and John Spring.

Attest on oath in Court by Elizabeth Woodward and Amos Woodward.

(Midd. VIII : 734-5) Heirs of George Woodward late of Watertowne, set off their mother's thirds according to agreement dated 19 Dec. 1676, and inventory taken 23 June 1676; her three children mentioned, George, Elizabeth and Sarah [minors]. Dated 2 Feb. 1692-3.
