Hester Weare was born in 1628 or 1629, daughter of Nathaniel Weare (see note).1,2
She married Capt. Benjamin Swett, son of John Swett and Sarah ---(?)---, on 1 November 1647 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, as her first husband.1,3
She married on 31 March 1678 Ensign Steven Greenleaf of Newbury. The family probably removed to Newbury, upon their mother's marriage to Mr Greenleaf of that place.4,5
She died on 16 January 1718 in Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, aged eighty-nine years.1
