The census of 1870 shows John W. Smith, cashier in a bank, with $12,000 real estate and $8,000 personal estate, and Georgeanna Smith, keeping house, listed with Edward C. Smith, Virginia E. Smith, Mary W. Smith, Eliza M. Smith and Wheeler E. Smith living at Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.3
