Daniel Boynton of Rowley¹

Daniel Boynton of Rowley was born on 30 May 1805, son of Eben and Jane (Todd) Boynton.¹

Daniel Boynton of Rowley was a farmer and general merchant in farm products.¹

He married Fanny Nourse, daughter of Daniel Nourse and Hannah Jewett of Rowley, on 11 May 1831.¹

He died on 3 April 1891 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 85 in "The Village."¹

Lydia Boynton was born on 25 July 1817 in Thornton, Grafton County, New Hampshire, daughter of Thomas Boynton and Lydia Davis.¹

She married Nathan Silver Woodbury, son of David Charles Woodbury and Mary Colby, on 29 March 1838 in Thornton.¹

The census of 1880 shows Nathan S. Woodbury, Nathan was a farmer. His son Milton worked on the farm along with Charles H. Bradley, 26, from Vermont, and Lydia Woodbury, listed with Sarah J. Woodbury and Milton B. Woodbury living at Thornton.² She died of a gastric problem on 13 March 1883 in Thornton, at age 65.¹ She and Nathan Silver Woodbury were buried in Thornton Cemetery, Thornton, Grafton County, New Hampshire.¹ Click on a camera icon to see image from an unknown date .

Philena Abigail Boynton was born on 3 August 1848 in Sherman, Aroostook County, Maine, daughter of Richard Boynton and Sara Hunt.¹

She married Timothy Johnson Woodbury, son of William W. Woodbury and Hannah S. Sargent, on 6 September 1868 in Sherman.¹ The census of 1880 shows Philena A. Woodbury, 31, doing housework, in the household of William Woodbury and Hannah S. Woodbury, at Patten, Penobscot County, Maine.²

The census of 1900 shows Timothy J. Woodbury, 59, a farmer, and Philena A. Woodbury, 53, listed with Walter W. Woodbury, Lillian A. Woodbury, Daniel R. Woodbury, Ethel N. Woodbury, Effie L. Woodbury, James S. Mitchell and Nettie O. Mitchel living at Patten.³

She died on 11 November 1938 in Sherman, at age 90.¹ She was buried in Patten Cemetery, Patten, Penobscot County, Maine.¹
