     Hale Waite was born about 1779.¹ He was the son of John Waite and Eunice Hale.¹

He married Elizabeth Stanwood.¹

     Harriet Waite was born on 6 June 1802 in Waterford, Oxford County, Maine.

She married Oliver Hale Jr., son of Oliver Hale and Eunice Fletcher, on 29 October 1832 in Waterford.

The census of 1850 shows Oliver Hale Jr., 46, a farmer with $1,050 real estate, and Harriet W. Hale, 47, listed with Henry W. Hale, Edward O. Hale, Frederick F. Hale and Harriet E. Houghton living at Waterford. Also residing here were George Walker (age 65, b. Me., harnessmaker), and Mary McIntyre (age 47, b. N.H., pauper).¹

She died on 30 August 1853 in Waterford, at age 51. She was buried after 30 August 1853 in Elm Vale Cemetery, Waterford, Oxford County, Maine.

     John Waite was born on 10 June 1694. He was the son of John Waite Jr. and Mary ---(?)---.

     John Waite was born about 1750 son of John and Sarah (Kimball) Waite.² He and Eunice Hale published their marriage intention on 14 August 1773 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts.²

He married Eunice Hale, daughter of Benjamin Hale and Judith Swett, on 21 October 1773.¹

He married Judith Hale, daughter of Capt. Oliver Hale and Judith Hale, on 29 December 1785 in Newbury, Newtown (afterward West Newbury), Essex County, Massachusetts.²

He died in Ipswich.³

     John Waite was born about 1777.¹ He was the son of John Waite and Eunice Hale.¹

     John Waite was lost at sea, probably unmarried.¹

     John Waite Jr. was born on 27 December 1669. He was the son of John Waite Sr. and Mary Woodward.

He married Mary ---(?)---.

He died on 24 June 1722 in Weston, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 52.

     John Waite Sr. was born on 6 May 1639 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

He married Mary Woodward, daughter of George Woodward and Mary ---(?)---, on 13 January 1663/64.

He died before 6 October 1691 with administration of his estate was granted to his widow, Mary, and son, John.

     Joseph Waite was born on 17 February 1781.¹ He was the son of John Waite and Eunice Hale.¹

He married Rebecca Dodge in 1803 . He and wife Rebecca had seven sons and three daughters, of whom the sixth child and fourth son was Luther.¹

He died on 28 May 1864 at age 83.¹

     Luther Waite was born on 14 February 1814.¹ He was the son of Joseph Waite and Rebecca Dodge.¹

He died on 20 October 1847 at age 33 at his father's house (probably unmarried).

He was a member of the New England Historical and Genealogical Society, and took great interest in its affairs and the subjects to which it is devoted. He was a prompt, energetic and honorable man of business, a prominent and efficient citizen, a devoted friend and supporter of common schools, distinguished for his generosity and benevolence, and for the frankness and strength of his attachments, an ardent and devoted brother, and a tender and intensely affectionate son.      Lydia Waite was born on 3 July 1706. She was the daughter of John Waite Jr. and Mary ---(?)---.

     

She married Eleazer Phillips, son of Eleazer Phillips and Ann Foster, about 1706 in Charlestown, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.¹

     Mary Waite was born on 9 October 1666. She was the daughter of John Waite Sr. and Mary Woodward.

     Mary Waite was born on 8 May 1696. She was the daughter of John Waite Jr. and Mary ---(?)---.
