     Samuel Smith was born on 25 October 1765 in Washington, Litchfield County, Connecticut.¹ Or Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut. He was the son of John Smith and Mary Ford.

He married Lucy Hall, daughter of T. Hall, on 17 May 1786 in Washington.²

The census of 1 May 1791 shows Samuel Smith, Also in the family were four additional females [Nancy, Marilla, and two unknown], and Lucy Hall, listed with Nancy Smith and Marilla Smith living at Washington.³

The census of 1850 shows Samuel Smith, a farmer, listed with Wm. Smith, Julia Smith, Thos. B. Smith and Saml. B. Smith living at Washington. Also in the household was Ellin Jamerson, age 11, born in Connecticut.⁴

He died on 15 April 1852 in Washington, at age 86.

     Samuel Smith was born say 1652. He was the son of Rev. John Smith and Susannah Hinckley.

He married Elizabeth Pierce.

     Dea. Samuel Smith was born about 1659. He was the son of Lieut. Dea. Philip Smith and Rebecca Foote.

He married Mary Church, daughter of Samuel Church and Mary Churchill.

He married Mary Smith on 1 June 1701 in East Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.

He died on 28 August 1707 in East Hartford.

     Samuel B. Smith was born in 1842 or 1843 in Connecticut.¹ He was the son of William Smith and Julia Stone.¹ The census of 1850 shows Saml. B. Smith in the household of Samuel Smith, at Washington, Litchfield County, Connecticut.¹ The census of 1860 shows Samuel B. Smith, a farmer, in the household of Wm. Smith and Julia Smith, at Washington.² The census of 1870 shows Samuel Smith, a farm laborer, in the household of William Smith and Julia Smith, at Washington.³

     Samuel Mansfield Smith was born on 13 June 1796 in Washington, Litchfield County, Connecticut.¹ He was the son of Samuel Smith and Lucy Hall.¹

He married Eliza Wheeler in 1822.

He died on 21 January 1864 in Washington, at age 67.

     Sarah Smith was born on 21 February 1776 in Washington, Litchfield County, Connecticut.¹ She was the daughter of John Smith and Mary Ford.¹

She married Hezekiah Baldwin in April 1809.²

     Sarah Smith was born on 23 July 1816.¹ She was the daughter of Isaiah Smith and Mary Chapman.¹

She died on 10 July 1868 in Bridgton, Cumberland County, Maine, at age 51, unmarried.¹

     Sarah Smith was born on 16 March 1757.¹

She married Amos Perley, son of Capt. Francis Perley and Huldah Putnam, on 4 February 1779.¹

She died on 29 September 1842 in Vassalboro, Kennebec County, Maine, at age 85.¹

     

She married Charles Adams, son of John Adams and Abigail Smith.

     Sarah Smith was born about 1746.¹ She was the daughter of Ephraim Smith of Camden, N.Y. and Sarah Newton.¹

She married Samuel Mansfield Stone.¹

She died on 26 February 1814 in Litchfield, Litchfield County, Connecticut.¹

     

She married George Horner, son of William Horner and Sarah Elizabeth 'Sally' Royse, in 1850 in Fredericksburg, Washington County, Indiana.¹

     Mrs. Sarah G. (Weare) Smith was born on 18 August 1842 in Lisbon, Grafton County, New Hampshire.^1,2

She married John C. Willard, son of Richard Willard and Mary Eastman, on 21 June 1873.³

     

She married Neil Mallon Bush, son of George Herbert Walker "Poppy" Bush and Barbara Pierce, in 1980. She and Neil Mallon Bush were divorced in April 2003.
