Frances M. Blake was born on 16 December 1848 in Canaan, Grafton County, New Hampshire.¹

She married Eli Hammond Sargent, son of Wells Sargent and Naomi P. Hammond, on 1 January 1863 in Enfield, Grafton County, New Hampshire.¹

The census of 1880 shows Elia H. Sargent, Elia was a miller, and Frances M. Sargent, listed with William Sargent, Ida Sargent and Bertha Sargent living at Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts.²

He married Molly Colby, daughter of Eliphalet Colby and Mary Rogers, on 18 December 1777 in Hopkinton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.

He died on 12 July 1833 in Peacham, Caledonia County, Vermont, at age 77.
