He married Margaret M. McAvery on 1 September 1929.³

     Edson Woodbury Sawyer was born on 22 May 1904 in Faxon Road, Quincy, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of George Frederick Sawyer and Naomi Woodbury Babson. He married Constance Mable Covell. The census of 1 January 1920 shows Edson Woodbury Sawyer in the household of George Frederick Sawyer and Naomi Woodbury Babson, at Main Street, Norton Centre, Bristol County, Massachusetts.²

He died on 30 October 1988 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island, at age 84.³

     Elisha Smith Sawyer was born on 19 December 1808 in Woodstock, Grafton County, New Hampshire, son of Ezra Sawyer and Mary Smith.¹

He married Susannah Colby Woodbury, daughter of David Charles Woodbury and Mary Colby, on 26 December 1836 in Woodstock.¹

He died on 14 October 1894 in Woodstock, at age 85.¹

     Fanny A. Sawyer was born on 24 September 1848 in Waterford, Oxford County, Maine.¹ She was the daughter of Horace Austin Sawyer and Sarah J. Hale.¹ The census of 1850 shows Frances Sawyer, 3, in the household of Horace Sawyer and Sarah Sawyer, at Chelsea, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.² The census of 1860 shows Fanny A. Sawyer, 13, at school, in the household of Horace A. Sawyer and Sarah H. Sawyer, at Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts.³

     Flavia Sawyer was born on 3 November 1909 in Goffstown, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.² She was the daughter of Thomas Warren Sawyer and Ellen King.¹

She married Carl K. Hardy on 11 November 1934 in Goffstown.³

She died on 13 January 1988 in Bedford, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, at age 78.²

In 1919, George Frederick Sawyer was president and treasurer of Improved Seamless Wire Co. He was also president of the Electric Chain Co., treasurer of Manufacturers Refining Co., and a director of the Industrial Trust Co., in Providence.

He died on 29 June 1941 at age 65.

     George Luere Sawyer was born on 24 May 1907 in 61 Faxon Rd., Quincy, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of George Frederick Sawyer and Naomi Woodbury Babson. The census of 1 January 1920 shows George Luere Sawyer in the household of George Frederick Sawyer and Naomi Woodbury Babson, at Main Street, Norton Centre, Bristol County, Massachusetts.²

He died in April 1983 in East Greenwich, Kent County, Rhode Island, at age 75.³
