She died on 17 August 1856 in Fredericksburg, Washington County, Indiana, at age 64 . This is the date listed on her tombstone, howver she is mentioned in her son Levi's will dated 1869.¹ She was buried in Horner's Chapel, Fredericksburg, Washington County, Indiana.¹
