He married Climena Colby, daughter of Thomas Colby Jr. and Abigail Noyes, on 7 January 1844 in Bow.2,3 After their marriage, they bought the Harris farm in Dunbarton Centre.1 He was deacon at the the Baptist Church there for many years.1
The census of 1850 shows John Page Jr., 36, a farmer, and Climena Page, 28, listed with Edson Page, Mary F. Page and John M. Page living at Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.4
In 1860, John Page owned an old saw-mill on Lot No. 4 in the sixth range of the town.5
The census of 1880 shows John Page, 63, a farmer and lumberman, and Climena Page, 58, housekeeper, listed with Abbie C. Page, John H. Page, Lewis N. Page, Lucy E. Page and Eugene C. Page living at Dunbarton.6
