John Page Jr. was born on 1 October 1817 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.¹

He married Climena Colby, daughter of Thomas Colby Jr. and Abigail Noyes, on 7 January 1844 in Bow.^2,3 After their marriage, they bought the Harris farm in Dunbarton Centre.¹ He was deacon at the the Baptist Church there for many years.¹

The census of 1850 shows John Page Jr., 36, a farmer, and Climena Page, 28, listed with Edson Page, Mary F. Page and John M. Page living at Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.⁴
In 1860, John Page owned an old saw-mill on Lot No. 4 in the sixth range of the town.⁵

The census of 1880 shows John Page, 63, a farmer and lumberman, and Climena Page, 58, housekeeper, listed with Abbie C. Page, John H. Page, Lewis N. Page, Lucy E. Page and Eugene C. Page living at Dunbarton.⁶

He died on 25 February 1887 in Dunbarton, at age 69.^1,7 He and Climena Colby were buried in Dunbarton Center Cemetery, New Hampshire.⁸
