Isabella Holmes Beecher was born on 22 February 1822 in Litchfield, Litchfield County, Connecticut.
Isabella Beecher Hooker
She was the daughter of Rev. Lyman Beecher D.D. and Harriet Porter.

Isabella Holmes Beecher was a leader in the women's suffrage movement and an author.

She married John Hooker in 1841.

She died on 25 January 1907 at age 84.

Rev. Lyman Beecher D.D. was born on 12 October 1775 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut, son of Henry and Esther (Lyman) Beecher.1

Rev. Lyman Beecher D.D. was a Presbyterian minister, temperance movement Founder (American Temperance Society).


He married Roxanna Foote, daughter of Eli Foote and Roxanna Ward, on 19 September 1797.1 In 1799, Rev. Lyman Beecher D.D. and Roxanna Beecher moved to East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York, a raw settlement in which carpets were a rare luxury, many of his parishioners were Montauk Indians, and ministers were expected to live on $400 a year. There she bore six children in the space of ten years and ran a family school in the house, taking in student boarders from the community.2 In 1810, Rev. Lyman Beecher D.D. and Roxanna Foote moved to Litchfield, Litchfield County, Connecticut.2

He married Harriet Porter in 1817.

He married Lydia Beals Johnson in 1836.

He died on 10 January 1863 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, at age 87, at the residence of his son, Henry Ward Beecher.2 He was buried in Grove Street Cemetery, New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.

She married Thomas Clap Perkins on 7 November 1827 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.3
As of 1907, Mary and Thomas lived at Hartford.4

She married Earnest A. Morgan, son of Harrison Morgan and Julia Piper, on 10 June 1878 in Phillips, Franklin County, Maine.3

The census of 1880 shows Ernest A. Morgan, Ernest was a farmer, and Flora Morgan, listed with William H. Morgan living at Weld.1

The census of 1900 shows Earnest A. Morgan, Earnest A. Morgan was a farmer. William was a student. Also in the household was a servant, Etta Burns, age 15, born in Maine, and Flora A. Morgan, listed with William H. Morgan and Earnest B. Morgan living at Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.4

The census of 1910 shows Ernest A. Morgan, Ernest was a farmer. As of this year, Flora had given birth to three children, of whom two survived., and Flora A. Morgan, listed with Ernest B. Morgan living at Readfield.5

She died before 1920.6

     Aaron Beeman was born on 14 July 1797 in Bridgton, Cumberland County, Maine, son of Aaron and Phebe (Kimball) Beeman.1

He married Deborah Fowler, daughter of John Fowler Jr. and Deborah Dorman, on 10 June 1824 or 27 October 1824 and settled in Bridgton.1
