Abi Platt was born on 25 July 1793 in Connecticut Daughter of Levi and Esther (Alvord) Platt of Danbury.¹

She married Hiram Roys, son of James Royce and Olive Hinman, on 7 January 1850.

The census of 1870 shows Hiram Roys, age 75, with $1500 personal estate, and Abbie P. Roys, age 71, a shoemaker living at Winchester, Litchfield County, Connecticut.²

She died on 11 January 1883 at age 89.³
