     Thomas Parks was born in 1703.¹ He was the son of Edward Parks and Martha Fiske of Cambridge.¹

     William Parks was born say 1688 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Richard Parks and Sarah Cutter.¹

     Zaccheus Parks was born say 1725.¹ He was the son of Richard Parks and Elizabeth Billings.¹

     Lieutenant Abraham Parmelee was born on 28 April 1717 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut.¹ He was the son of Isaac Parmelee and Elizabeth Highland.

He came to Goshen, unmarried, with the first settlers, and superintended the laying out of his lands, at the time being 23 years of age. He lived the first summer with his uncle, Deacon Nathaniel Baldwin. At the first town meeting in Goshen, he was chosen one of the 'Listers.'

His second summer, he brought a bag of grass seed from his father's home in North Guilford, and made his bed upon it all that summer. The distance from his log cabin to Deacon Baldwin's was one and one-quarter mile through the woods.

On 8 Oct 1742, he deeded the greater part of his lands in Goshen to his son, Abraham. The consideration named in the deed was 'natural affection, love, and good will.¹'

He married Mary Stanley on 3 May 1746.¹

He died on 25 March 1795 in Goshen, Litchfield County, Connecticut, at age 77.¹ He was buried after 25 March 1795 His gravestone reads:
'Boast of thy conquests, Death, our human things,
The pomp of empires and the pride of kings;
But know, the saints shall burst their chains and rise
To thrones celestial in their kindred skies.²'

     Elizabeth Parmelee was born in 1690. She was the daughter of Isaac Parmelee and Elizabeth Highland.

She married Nathaniel Baldwin, son of Samuel Baldwin and Abigail Baldwin, on 8 April 1718.¹

She died on 14 March 1786.

     Isaac Parmelee was born on 21 November 1665 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut. He was the son of John Parmelee and Hannah Plaine.

He married Elizabeth Highland, daughter of George Highland and Hannah Cruttendon, on 30 December 1689 in Guilford, and had nine children.¹
As of 8 October 1742, Isaac lived at Guilford.²

He died on 13 January 1748/49 in Guilford, at age 83.¹

     John Parmelee was baptized on 6 September 1612 in All Saints Church, Lewes, East Sussex, England.¹ He was the son of John Parmelee and Anne Howell.^2,1

He married Hannah Plaine, daughter of William Plaine and Anna ---(?)---, in February 1658/59 . She was his step-daughter.¹

He died on 31 January 1687/88 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut, at age 75.¹

     John Parmelee was baptized on 27 September 1584 in All Saints Church, Lewes, East Sussex, England.¹

He married Anne Howell on 15 May 1608 in All Saints Church, Lewes.¹

He died on 8 November 1659 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut, at age 75.¹

     Theodore Parmelee was born after 3 May 1746. He was the son of Lieutenant Abraham Parmelee and Mary Stanley.

He "commanded a company of horse."¹

     Martha Parrat was born on 9 October 1649 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts, Daughter of Francis Parrat of Rowley and sister of the wife of Deacon
Ezekiel Jewett, also of Mary, wife of John Sawyer.

She married Isaac Colby, son of Anthony Colby and Susanna ---(?)---, in 1668 in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.

She died on 13 July 1730 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 80.

     Frances Parris was born about 1733, and died without children. She was the daughter of Capt. John Parris of Kingston, Jamaica and Nancy Willard.

     Capt. John Parris of Kingston, Jamaica was born say 1701.

He married Nancy Willard, daughter of Major John Willard and Frances Sherburn of Jamaica, in 1727.

     Charles Henry Parsons was born on 18 February 1864 in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of William Henry Parsons and Sarah A. Wood.¹

He married Adeline M. Marvel on 23 September 1885 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.¹

He died after 1920.¹
