The census of 1880 shows Leonard Colby, Leonard and his son Osburne were farmers. Sarah was a school teacher. Also in the household was a clergyman, John S. Ladd, 24, and Mary A. Colby, listed with Emma L. Colby, Sarah M. Colby and Osburne L. Colby living at Canterbury, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.1
She died on 13 May 1903 in Bow, at age 88. She was buried in Evans (North) Cemetery on White Rock Hill Rd, by Turee Pond, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
