     James Henry Moyer was born in May 1870 in Pennsylvania.1

He married Nettie I. Alexander, daughter of General Edgar Warren Alexander, on 5 April 1899 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.2 The census of 4 June 1900 shows James H. Moyer in the household of Edgar W. Alexander, at 1246 Perkiomen Ave., Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.1

In 1904, James Henry Moyer was president of the Commercial Trust Company of Reading, Pa.3

The census of 1910 shows J. Henry Moyer, 39, a grocer, 31 living at 1362 Parkman Ave., Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.4
