Asa Morgan was born on 5 November 1793 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, Son of William Morgan, an early settler in Upper Bog district.1
He married Clarissa Colby, daughter of Philip Colby and Hannah Bailey, on 15 December 1817 in Bow.2
The census of 1850 shows Asa Morgan, 56, a farmer with $3500 real estate, and Clarrissa Morgan, 52, listed with Lucina Morgan, Joseph Morgan and Judith Morgan living at Bow. Also living there was Darius Burgess, 18, a farmer from Massachusetts.3
He died on 28 March 1852 in Bow, at age 58.1 He and Clarissa C. Morgan were buried in Alexander Cemetery on River Road, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.4
He married Clarissa Colby, daughter of Philip Colby and Hannah Bailey, on 15 December 1817 in Bow.2

On 23 September 1862 Charles Morgan enlisted in the Thirteenth New Hampshire Regt., Co. F, as a musician.2
On 4 May 1864 Charles Morgan was transferred to the U. S. Navy.2
He married Pamelia H. Winchell on 1 September 1866.2
