Olive Hayward Marshall was born on 28 February 1828 in North Bridgewater (now Brockton), Plymouth County, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Hayward Marshall and Almira Wild. She and Frederic L. Trow of Cambridge published their marriage intention on 21 February 1847 in North Bridgewater (now Brockton).²

She married Frederick Lucius Trow on 8 March 1847 in East Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.³

The census of 1880 shows Fred L. Trow, 56, a carpenter, and Olive H. Trow, wife, 52, keeping house, listed with Lizzie F. Trow and Anna M. Trow living at Main Street, Brockton, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.⁴ She was buried in Coweeset Cemetery, Pearl Street, North Bridgewater (now Brockton), Plymouth County, Massachusetts.¹
