     Richard Merle Mason was born on 11 January 1882 in Flat Rock, Crawford County, Illinois, . The 1900 census says Nov 1881.1 He was the son of Charles Prontice Mason and Theodosia Marie Parker. The census of 1900 shows Mearl P. Mason, 18, at school, in the household of Charles P. Mason and Doshia A. Mason, at Salt Fork, Grant County, Oklahoma.1

He died on 16 January 1947 at age 65.

He died on 13 March 1879 in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia, at age 68.1

     Sarah Ann Mason was born on 7 April 1836 in Bicknell, Knox County, Indiana.

She married Johnson Gilmore, as her first husband.

She married Samuel Hamilton Mills, son of Samuel C. Mills and Lucinda Main, on 14 March 1859, and moved to Westfield, Clark County, Illinois.

She died on 9 April 1917 in Westfield, at age 81.
