Rev. Hosea Ballou D. D. was "the founder of Universalism in this country," and the first president of Tufts College.¹

He died on 27 May 1861 in Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, at age 64.¹

She died in 1957 in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.¹ She and Edwin A. Colby were buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.⁴
