     Clarence W. Lake was born on 4 March 1888.¹ He was the son of William G. Lake and Margaret Walker.¹

     Daniel Lake was born on 19 August 1786 in Rindge, Cheshire County, New Hampshire.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Lake and Hannah Hale.¹

He married Sarah Beard, and had ten children.¹

He died on 28 May 1849 in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont, at age 62.¹

     Edith Lake was born say 1881.

She married Myron Albert Smith, son of Albert Mansfield Smith and Elizabeth E. Beeman.¹

     Edward Hewlett Lake was born in January 1874.¹ He was the son of Perley B. Lake and Carrie Pitman.¹

     Elizabeth Lake was born on 3 August 1808 in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont.¹ She was the daughter of Jonathan Lake and Hannah Hale.¹

She married Jacob Garland born in at Potton, Memphrémagog Regional County Municipality, Quebec, Canada.²

She married Daniel Latham Holbrook as her second husband, and had five children, all born in Potton.²

She married Daniel Magoon as her third husband. They had no children.²

She died after February 1881.³

     Enoch Lake was born on 7 August 1799 in Chester or Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Lake and Hannah Hale.¹

He married Charlotte Brackett, and had three children.²
Enoch lived in Braintree and Quincy, Mass., and in Springfield, Vt.¹

He died in Maricaibo, S. A..³

     George Lake was born in 1869 in New Hampshire.² He was the son of Henry G. Lake and Emily Cates.¹

     Hannah Lake was born on 21 March 1802 in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont.¹ She was the daughter of Jonathan Lake and Hannah Hale.¹

She married Leonard Walker, and had five children.¹
Hannah and Leonard lived in Springfield, Vt; Troy, Vt; Potton, Quebec; and Newport, Vt.²

She died after February 1881.²

     Henry G. Lake was born on 12 June 1835 in Epsom, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.¹

He married Emily Cates, daughter of Nathan Cate and Maxamilla Colby, on 16 December 1858 in Pembroke, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.¹

The census of 1860 shows Henry G. Lake, Henry was a shoemaker with $50 personal estate, and Emily Lake living at Wilmot, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.²

The census of 1870 shows Henry Lake, Henry was a mason, and Emily worked in a cotton mill, and Emily Lake living at Boarding House No. 2 Webster Corp., Pembroke, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.³

He died on 8 May 1895 in Chichester, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, at age 59.¹

     

He married Rebecca Eveline Dorman, daughter of Nathaniel Dorman and Parmelia Gould, and lived in Topsfield, Essex County, Massachusetts.¹

     Jonathan Lake was born on 18 March 1761 in Topsfield, Essex County, Massachusetts, son of Daniel and Sarah (Bixby) Lake of Rindge.²

He served about five years in the Revolutionary war, including the Saratoga campaign, that of 1778 with the battle of Monmouth, and enlisting last for three years in 1781. His first enlistment was at the age of 17. He was a farmer.²

He married Hannah Hale, daughter of Enoch Hale and Abigail Stanley, on 8 March 1786.²

He married Lucy Hale, daughter of Enoch Hale and Abigail Stanley, in 1836, as second husband and second wife.¹

He died on 20 May 1846 in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont, at age 85.¹

     Jonathan Lake was born on 24 August 1790 in Rindge, Cheshire County, New Hampshire.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Lake and Hannah Hale.¹

He married Charlotte Litchfield.¹

He died on 5 August 1863 in Claremont, Sullivan County, New Hampshire, at age 72.¹

     

She married Edward Perley Balch, son of Humphrey Balch and Hannah P. Bradstreet, as his second wife.¹

     Lenora Bruce Lake was born in May 1872.¹ She was the daughter of Perley B. Lake and Carrie Pitman.¹
