     Alger E. "Al" Keniston was born in 1925 or 1926 in Laconia, Belknap County, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Elmer Guy Keniston and Bertha Southworth.1 He was educated at Concord schools . He served in the navy in WW II. He was described as an avid Red Sox fan and contributed much of his time to the Webster Little League. He was a member of the Webster bowling team for many years and loved fishing, cribbage, boating and animals.1
Alger lived at Webster, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, for many years.1

Alger E. "Al" Keniston was a machinist for 18 years at Kingsbury Davis Machine Co., Contoocook, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.1

Alger E. "Al" Keniston was employed for Hosmer Machine Co. before retiring.1

He died on 23 April 2004 in Concord Hospital, Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.1 His funeral was on 28 April 2004 at Webster Congregational Church, Long Street, Webster, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations were to be made to the Concord Hospital Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program.1

     Elmer Guy Keniston and Bertha Southworth were divorced.2 He was born on 6 November 1899 in Andover, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Harry Guy Keniston and Laura Mariah Seavey.1

On 12 September 1918 Elmer Guy Keniston registered for the draft. Elmer Guy Keniston lived at Andover, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. He was a moth scout for the U.S. Government Bureau of Entomology. His nearest relative was shown as his mother, Mrs. Laura M. Kenniston of Andover. He was of medium height and medium build with dark brown eyes and dark brown hair.3 The census of 1920 shows Elmer Guy Keniston, a laborer at the Hame Factory, in the household of Harry G. Keniston and Laura M. Keniston, at Andover.4

He married Bertha Southworth after 1920.1,4

The census of 1930 shows Elmer Keniston, a knitter for a hosiery mill, renting a room in a rooming house for $11 a month, living at 31 Memorial Street, Franklin, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.2

He died on 27 November 1973 in Franklin, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, at age 74.1
