He married, as his fourth wife, Miss Brown of Hamilton, a sister of Mrs. Francis Dane of Boston.3

He was discovered floating in the river in 1879 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts.3

Ruth Jewett1

     Ruth Jewett was born on 4 March 1766 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts, daughter of Paul and Jane (Payson) Jewett.2

She married Isaac Hale, son of Joshua Hale and Hannah Pemberton, on 4 May 1785 in Rowley, by Rev. Ebenezer Bradford.2

In 1820, after her husband's death, she returned to Rowley and lived with her father, and took care of him till his death in 1828 at the age of 89.2

She died on 17 October 1839 in Rowley, at age 73.3
