Lucy Balch1

Lucy Balch was born on 21 February 1779, daughter of Rev. Nathaniel and Joanna (Mitchell) Balch of Bradford, now Groveland. She was a very handsome woman, and was known among her acquaintances as "the Lily of the Merrimac Valley."1
She married Samuel Perley, son of Nathaniel Perley and Sarah Dutch of Ipswich Village, on 16 January 1799.1
She died on 29 April 1831 or 1854 in New York, New York County, New York, . (See note.).2
