She married Pemberton Hale, son of Joshua Hale and Hannah Pemberton, on 14 August 1797 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts.1
She died on 19 August 1831 in Rowley, Susannah left a will dated 30 June, 1831, proved 1 Nov 1831, providing for all the children except Lucy, who was dead before date of will. Inventory ---realty, $1,455; personalty, $345.1
