I was born Kemis Songer. As a child I was nicknamed Kemo Sobby - what do you expect from a child of the 1950's. I was also called Songbird - after Sky King's airplane. I'm sure several are scratching their heads saying "who?" It was a TV show about Sky King, his niece Penny and Songbird - their airplane. It was on noon Saturdays. But, Sobby stuck as a nickname. Now some of your are probably asking yourself who was that masked WoMan and what is she doing? Well like many of you, I'm looking for ancestors.
Sobby Genealogy is committed to locating the ancestors of John Edgar MASSEY and Kemis Deloris SONGER. Both John and I were born and raised in Muscogee County, GA. John is the 5th generation of MASSEY's who lived in Columbus. While I am the 3rd generation of our branch of the SONGER's.

for me: SONGER, CAMP, EVANS, & ROSAMOND
These are the lines are for our grand parents. I've found some info on the MASSEY, BROOKS, FOUNTAIN, SONGER, CAMP and ROSAMOND lines. The SMITH line scares me as the great grand parents were both SMITH's. The EVANS line is my brick wall. I'm waiting for death certificates for clues.
