Through the Year in Fairbanks, Alaska August 21, 2007 "The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come..." (Song of Solomon 2:12) This morning a flock of ten Rusty Blackbirds visited our yard. The color of their feathers ranged from a vivid chocolate brown to a deeper darker brown - nearly black. Their light eyes were almost a startling contrast! They were constantly moving - it was hard to get a picture without some sort of blur of them moving! (SMILE) Here are a few pictures.
