reen Sea Anemone
| We enjoyed the tide pools at low tide at Monterey Bay, California. We saw a lot of creatures: tiny hermit crabs, large kelp fronds, mussels, limpets and much more. The anemones looked like blobs of dirty green jello when the waves were out, but opened their many tentacles when the waves came in. We also saw a jellyfish and sea otter in the Bay that day, as well as rockfish, seagulls, California sea lions and brown pelicans. |
