Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum
San Jose, California |

| This is one of my favorite places to visit in California. These pictures are of or near various buildings in the Rosicrucian complex. No photos are allowed inside the Museum. There are excellent artifacts and yes, even Egyptian mummies! There is a recreation of a Nomark's burial chamber (in the basement!) that you can see by taking a very interesting tour. There is a gift store with a lot of neat "Egyptian" theme items to purchase. There is also a Planetarium in the complex. Unfortunately though, the Planetarium is closed indefinitely due to need for restorations. When Grace and I last visited there we saw a Planetarium show about "The Egyptian Sky" through historical times. There are a lot of pictures on this page, so it may take a while to load.
