Coalinga, California

The first week we stayed with Don's folks in Coalinga and had a really nice time visiting with Don's family. We enjoyed watching birds at Mom and Pop Logan's home in Coalinga. The English Sparrows would eat about anything you gave them! Several Mourning Doves visited Pop's garden. A pair of Mourning Doves nested in their back yard in 2004. They were frequently sitting on Pop's grape arbor. There were lots of pretty flowers also - Nectarine Trees with pink blossoms were blooming in Pop's garden along with bright yellow blossoms of Mustard. Mom's Camellias and Calla Lilies were also blooming and absolutely beautiful.
