Pedigree

NOTE: We believe that Barbara Monhollen is the daughter
of William Monhollen born abt. 1787 and died in 1860/Mary "Polly" (Tillotson)
There is no written or DNA proof of this as of yet.

What we can prove on paper:

1. Barbara Monhollen born abt. 1812 married Rev. Daniel Hamblin
1830-1831. Daniel was born abt. 1810 son of Benjamin/Juda {Sear} Hamblin.
Barbara died in 18159-60 of Scarlett Fever and Daniel remarried
to Mary "Polly" Vanderpool with which he had seven children.
Barbara and Daniel had 13 children. It is unknown at this time
where they are buried for sure.

2. Cyntha Hamblin born Feb. 28, 1852 married Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Young

Jan. 9, 1872. Jeff was born on Dec. 25, 1852 the son of Silas Young
and Nancy Hill. They had 13 children together. Cyntha died on
Aug. 11, 1922 and Jeff died May 28, 1931. He never remarried.

Both are buried side by side in Young Family Cemetery at Mulberry.

3. Flora Belle Young born April 18, 1898 married Montgomery "Gumie"
Anderson on Feb. 12, 1913. Montgomery was the son of Calvin "Coly"

and Manila {Mowery} Anderson. He was born June 6, 1893. Flora
Belle had 12 children then died of Liver Cancer on June 21, 1943,
in Whitley County, Ky.
NOTE: Flora's tombstone enscription has the year transcribed backwards
as 1934.

Montgomery never remarried and he passed away on Aug. 13, 1964 in
Cincinnati, Ohio. Both of them are buried side by side in the
Young (Upper Mulberry, or Anderson) Cemetery across from the Mulberry
Church and up the hill.

4. Nola Marie Upchurch (Living) and Roy Sizemore (Passed On)

5. Della Marie Sizemore (Webmaster)married first to Ricky Lane Allen,
Then to Richard "Ricky" Allen Perez, now to Kenneth Allen Goodin.
