Liz and John
fly to Bogotá, Colombia to meet Esmeralda and her family. We tour
the country for two weeks

Inside Passage:
Ellen Beckmann
joins Liz and me for a cruise on
Queen of the North
up the Inside Passage between Port
Hardy and Prince Rupert, British Columbia. We drove from Lakewood,
WA to Vancouver and then took the ferry to Vancouver Island. Then we
drove another 400 kilometers to Port Hardy. Then next day we sailed
into a beautiful Canadian Sunset... at midnight |

Holland America offers a cruise to the Sea of Cortés on the
ms Ryndamm which
includes an 18 hour excursion to Mexico's Copper Canyon
(by
way of Topolobampo). An offer too good to refuse. As a further bonus
we also sailed to Cabo San
Lucas, Loreto, Pichilingue (La
Paz), Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta |

Reunion?
We're Not In Kansas Anymore:
We scheduled a short cruise to
Key West and Cozumel on
Carnival Imagination
before our longer trip through the Panama Canal
next month |

past and avoided high-wind interruption of the ship's tenders |

Carnival Glory to Nassau,
Bahamas; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos |

Rio de Janeiro:
We fly to Buenos Aires to join
Azamara Journey on a holiday cruise to Uruguay and Brazil
and view the New Year's Eve fireworks display off Copacabana Beach
in Rio |
