believed to have been born in St Paul's Cray, West Kent Parish, Kent in
England in about 1804.
He is the 3x great grandfather of Carol Dale of Melbourne

The family of Charles and Alice ASHDOWN at the wedding of their second son Walter, to Doris FORDHAM.
The wedding took place on 19th February 1928 in Kennington (Southwark) Surrey.
The folks in the photo are unidentified but probably include: Charles and Lily Ashdown (nee HILL) with Doris age 2,
