Geo Doverspike Red Bank

To the Honorable J. B. Neal President Judge of the Orphans Court of Armstrong Co,

The petition of John W. Doverspike and Catharine Doverspike minior children of Geo Doverspike late of Red Bank Township (Deceased) would repectfully state that they are over the age of fourteen years and have no person to take charge of their person and estate and would respectfully petition the Court to appoint some suitable person for that purpose.

That their father died in 1878 and left an estate in realty of about $3000.00 and that there are thirteen children (heirs) of said decedent

And now to wit. 1 Dec. 1879. Aurthur Mitchell appointed Guardian and Wm. Buffington and G. W. Hankey approved as surities on the sum of $500.00 in each case.

The petition of Mary A. Doverspike widow of George Doverspike late of Red Bank Twp. Armstrong County Pa (Deceased) Respectfully represents that she is the widow of George Doverspike aforesaid deceased, that the decedent died intestate and left Clara Jane Doverspike a daughter age twelve years and that your Petitioner prays your Honor to appoint Arthur Mitchell of the County of Armstrong to be Guardian in and for Clara Jane Doverspike

The Petiton of Maggie Miller minor child of Jacob Miller (Deceased) late of Kittanning respectfully represents That she is over the age of fourteen years and has income from renting Real Estate of about twenty five dollars a year.

Wherefore she prays your Honor to allow her to make choice of Jacob Kough as her Guardian to give bond in the sum of one hundred dollars with Henry Lease as surety
