Orville was born on January 1, 1902.

On November 20, 1922 he married Virgil Phares, daughter of Simeon Phares & Minnie (nee Rugh).

They spent the greater part of their lives prior to retirement operating their farm in Scotland County, Missouri, retiring to Memphis Missouri in their twilight years.

Virgil passed away in Memphis on April 19, 1995. Orville followed her in death on December 14, 2000. They are buried in the Memphis Cemetery.
