She was born Frances Irene Summers in 1929 to Orlo Dell Summers and Irene Mable (nee Biggs). In 1948 she married Carl Lloyd Robeson. She lives today in Hampton Minnesota. Her daughters are Anita Gayle (Robeson) Johnson of Grapevine Texas and Michele Irene (Robeson) Stoffel of Vermillion Minnesota.
