Further interpretation (March 2008) of the old German script by Mr. Philippe Brachet of Strasbourg, France:

liessen den 13ten 8bris ein Sohnlein tauffen, gevattere waren Johann Conrad und Brimer(?) von Lambsheim, das kind heisst Johann Conrad.

Translation to English (a combination from the efforts of both gentlemen):

1711
-- Christian Merklin, citizen and cartwright* at Lambsheim with wife Anna Catharina --- the 13 of October a little son baptized, godparents were Johann Conrad (Brimer ?) from Lambsheim, the child is called Johann Conrad.

*cartwright = wagon/coach maker/repairer
