Morgan Tucker
(1804-1893)
Lelah tells us that Morgan was born in West Virginia. He married Christena Moore in Greene County Pennsylvania. You can see Christena by going to the next picture in this album.
Morgan and Christena left West Virginia about 1849, stayed a couple of years in Ohio, and arrived in Scotland County Missouri in "the spring of 1853" (according to the family bible).
Morgan and Christena are the grandparents of Martha (nee Tucker) Lough.
Morgan donated the land that the Hickory Grove Church & Cemetery sits on. He and Christena are both buried there.
