"Uncle John's, Mattie K., and Leos""

This photo must have been taken about 1925-1930 or so. (in Putnam County, perhaps?)

Here is who I think the individuals mentioned "might" be:

Could Irene have been referring to her mother's "Uncle John" Terrell? If so, "Uncle John" was John Sherman Terrell, brother of Caroline (Terrell) Rugh and the photo must have been taken at his place (in Putnam County?).

Anita feels certain that the woman second from the right is Nelda, daughter of John Sherman Terrell. She would have been 25 years old in 1925.

"Leos" is most certainly Irene's brother, Leos Biggs. I feel he is the individual at the far right, next to Nelda. He would have been 30 years old in 1925.

"Mattie K." might be Mattie Fowler, daughter of Jane (Terrell) Fowler and grand daughter of John Sherman Terrell. But which individual she is within the picture is a mystery. She may be the lady that is located right in the very center of the group. She would have been about 35 years old in 1925.

Can anyone offer further help to identify any of the individuals in this old photo? If so, please return to the main "Grandma's Photo Album" page and e-mail me.
