George Rugh was born near Pierceville Iowa on July 27, 1851. He was a son of John Michael Rugh and Zeruah (Ruey) nee Williams.

On December 28, 1890 George married Anna Tackaberry. Anna was born on January 10, 1874 in Missouri.

George was a Farmer. He and Anna spent most of their lives on their farm in Scotland County, Missouri. They had the following children: Fern, Bessie, Tommy, & Ivan.

George died in Scotland County at age 72 on November 4, 1923. Anna died in Scotland County on April 17, 1938. They are buried together at the Prairie View Methodist Church Cemetery in Scotland County.

Frank Leo Grinstead was born 29 May 1875 near Azen, Scotland County, Missouri to Ruff (Banjamin Rufus) Grinstead & Kate Amanda (nee Rugh).

In 1902 Ruff married Jean Alice (nee Eves).

He died 12 December 1947 at Colville, Washington.
