In the Fear of God Amen. I Marcy Palmer of Stonington in the County of New London being weak in body but of Sound mind & memory (blessed be God) do this 8th Day of November 1786 make and Publish this my last will & Testament in manner & form following (that is to say)

Imprimus  I commend by soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me & my body to the Earth from whence it came, in hopes of a Joyful Resurrection through the merits of my Saviour Jesus Christ and as for that worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me I Dispose there of as follows  -- First (after my Just Debts & Funeral charges are paid) I giveth my Daughter Grace Allen my Negro man named Pero and my Three Large Silver Spoons 

Item   I give to my Daughter Bathsheba Niles my Negro Girl named Cloe & I give to my sd Daughter Bathsheba my Note or Obligation on my son in Law Thomas Allen for her use & benefit forever

Item  I give to my Grand Daughter Bathsheba Pendleton my Chest of Drawers my Mittle Tea pot & my Stone Shoe buttons.  and Lastly I give to my Three Daughters, viz, Grace Allen Marcy Pendleton & Bathsheba Niles all my live Stock and house hold Furniture & all the rest of my Estate of Every kind & Nature (not heretofore gave away) to be Equally Divided among them my sd three Daughters and I do hereby Appoint my son in law Thomas Allen to be Executor of this my last will & Testament Signed Sealed Published & Declared by the said Marcy Palmer as and for her last will & Testament in the presence of us whose names are here under written who do Eash of us Subscribe our Names at her Request
& in her Presence & in the Room where she now is
