The last Will and Testament of Jonathan Grinold of Berlin in the County of Rensselaer and State of New York.
I Jonathan Grinold considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and perfect memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say,
First I give and devise all my landed property, that is to say all the farm that I now live on to my son John Grinold and to his heirs forever.
Item I will bequeath to my loving wife Martha all the priveleges in my house that she will want for comfort and to be found good and wholesome food and all other things for her comfort and support to be found for her by my son John.
Also, I will and bequeath to my son William twenty dollars, also to George my son fifty dollars, also to Henry my son two hundred dollars, also to my son Thomas fifty dollars, also I will and bequeath to my daughter Anna Herrington twenty dollars, also to my daughter Sarah Crandall twenty dollars and lastly as to all the residue of my personal Estate, goods and chattles to my son John whom I hereby appoint sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one, this second day of June 1821.

Signed, sealed, Published and declared by the above named Jonathan Grinold to be his last Will and Testament in presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses in the presence of Testator Daniel Gray, Thomas Burdick, Robert Godfrey.
