Dad loved to fish, even in the coldest weather, so I made him this hat. He would wear it every day to the post office and when he would go fishing

A big bass or catfish was never save when Dad put his hook in the water.

This and the previous picture were taken when Dad lived at the Lake of the Ozarks

This picture was taken on the bank of Mill Creek in Gravois Mills Mobile Home Park, where Pat lived from his retirement until his death. He loved getting his picture taken whenever he had fish to show off.
T
he local newspaper in Versailles published this picture of Pat and a bass he said was caught on the popular fishing plug of the time, the Repella. Of course it is not known if this fish was actually caught using that particular plug or not.

Another "big one" caught in the Lake of the Ozarks while he was living in Gravois Mills.

Even when he wasn't at the Lake, Dad would often practice casting in the yard. This photo was taken at the house that Aunt Bess Dickinson owned in Raytown in about 1960.

Pat was almost as proud of his flowers as he was of his grandchildren. Pictured here by one of his rosebushes is him, Irene (his wife) and Chris (grandaughter). This photo was taken in the summer of 1969

Pat and his youngest grandaughter, Elizabeth. Taken in 1984.
