The Baptism of Henry Thwaites in 1883 should also reveal godparents - records might be available in St Peter's South Bank as Canon Nolan was P.P. for Grangetown in the early days.

The 1881 Census Records of Charles and Ellen Thwaites in Grimstone Norfolk might reveal a County place of birth for Ellen Thwaites formerly O'Neill - who is too old to be a sister to John but the ideal age to be sister to Margaret - born c 1836.

The 1901 census  reveals that Florence Burt aged 23 the wife of John Burt  of 45 Bessemer Street was born in Grimstone Norfolk and they were the family who took in Grannie O誰eill, Patrick ( Grandad ) and Margaret O誰eill aged 9 when Grandad came from Ireland.

So she was originally Florence Thwaites daughter of Ellen Thwaites formerly O誰eill...whom I suspected might have been related to Margaret O誰eill in Ireland.She would have been aged 56 ..possibly a younger sister of Margaret...by nine years..according to the age given in the records for 1901.So was Grannie O誰eill her Aunt ?

We might  assume that George Thwaites was in the Army because his first two children were born in India, his wife Ellen O誰eill was born in Ireland..but where he met her is unsure but the next two children were born in Norkolk..his old county as a boy..where they stayed for a few years before  arriving in Grangetown to work as a Fireman on the locomotives.
