William Oxlade Yeoman of Dulwich 1807
THIS IS THE LAST WILL and Testament of William Oxlade of Dulwich in the County of Surry Yeoman I desire that all my Debts funeral and ( Coffin ) outlay expenses be paid as soon as may be after my Decease ( ) my leasehold estate ( held) ( )or (under____) or ( )of Dulwich and all ( ) my leasehold Estates and right and ( ) ( ) of (renewal) unto my Dear Wife (Mary) Oxlade during her life and from and ( ) ( ) after her decease I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my Grandaughter Mary (the Wife of William Crawford of Peerless St Now in the City Road Bookseller or her Executors Administartors and Assignees for her own absolute use and benefit I desire that my wife may have the use during her life of all my personal Effort and Effects whatsoever she delivering an Account and Inventory thereof to my Grandaughter within one calendar month after my Decease and after the Decease of my said Wife I give and bequeath all my said personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said Grandaughter Executors Administrators Assignees I appoint the said William Crawford Sole Executor of this my Will and Hereby revoking all other Wills by me and at any time made to declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said William Oxlade the Testator have hereunto set my hand and Seal the fourteenth day of November One Thousand eight hundred and four Wm Oxlade Signed Sealed and published and Declared by the said Testator William Oxlade and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of Thos (LOGGEN) Bassinghall St.,London - Sam Cotton his Clerk
THIS WILL was proved at London on the twenty third day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seven ............by the Oath of William Crawford (the Sole Executor)
