OXLADES MEADOW on Tithe map of 1838
1838 Tithe map for Fingest and 1840 Apportionment document rolled inside it for Oxlade Meadow and found at bottom right hand corner below Moszells Farm + Hannah Oxlade living in cottage at Ditchling.
1841 Census Hannah RUSSELL , a Lacemaker,probably by then the widow of William OXLADE was living at Ditchfield with her children, Hannah, James and Thomas OXLADE next door to Johnathan BRAZIER/BRAISHER (1785-1790) an Ag Lab and Sophia and children.
Mary WHITE (1781-1786) a Lacemaker and children living on other side of Johnathan BRAZIER. Mary is possibly the Mary OXLADE who married Benjamin WHITE 2 Nov 1805 at Stokenchurch.

I traced the meadow and houses at Ditchwell and looking on Ordnance survey
Map No 175 Landranger of Reading, Windsor and surrounding area, meadow is at
Frieth, nr Fingest, where Mousells wood is, 795 east 908 north, the houses
805 east 913 north. Interestingly there is still a Muswell Farm there now,
it was called Mozsells Farm on the map of 1838, they are right on the
borders of the tithe map with Hambledon and Marlow Parishes.
