Surr.,pattern drawer, (a trustee for Elizabeth Plumridge (formerly Corbee), wife of William Plumridge late of Munday Dean, Marlow, husbandman, under her marriage settlement, 6/7 Aug. 1753) by direction of E. Plumridge and A. Bird, to William Young of Hambledon, gent.,at the nomination of Clayton, in trust, etc.
Richard Oxlade appears to have had a daughter with Elizabeth Corby, Ann Corby Oxlade who married William Hackshaw 8 Dec 1772 at Great Marlow with the permission of her father Richard Oxlade she being under age.
The Widmer Farm Oxlades either owned or held the Copyhold for Munday Dean Farm until the death of Thomas Johnathan Oxlade in Feb 1822. His father held the property listed above at his Death in 1814. However, perhaps it was sub-leased to the Corbys as relevant extracts from Richard Corby's Will dated December 1721 and proved July 1722 show (This was the Richard who married Susannah Keely in 1721 after his previous wife Elizabeth Dean died in 1720) 'my two sons Richard and Thomas Corby and my daughter Elizabeth wife of Thomas (L)angley ''my son Robert Corby........ ...... in my pofsefsion called Monday Deane ffarme' 1851 census. Munday Dean Farm: William Corby, Head, M, 42, Farmer 210 acres 10 men, Great Marlow. The information about the Corbys in relation to Munday Deane Farm was kindly provided by Kevin Bigge
Richard Oxlade belonged to the family of William Oxlade and Dorothy Littler who appear in Iver in 1717 . A William Oxlade was buried 7 Feb 1744 at Bisham, Berks. Several of the Widmer Farm Oxlades lived at Bisham. It may be that William Oxlade who lived at Iver was the brother mentioned in the Will of Frances Oxlae who died at Lane End 1739.

*People qualified for land under the Enclosure Acts by possession of land (either by purchase or inheritance, freehold or copyhold,) then they participated in the share out under the Enclosure. The strips of land held in the various fields were totted up, and the equivalent amount of land, in one block, or possibly two, was allocated.
Even cottagers owning the minimum strips got their share - but nothing for any extra scraps of land on baulks (paths)between two strips,or common grazing rights claimed by usage rather than paperwork. Those acquiring enclosed land were often obliged to fence it, and the cost of the fencing forced them to mortgage or sell part of the land. So the little men ended up with less that their fair share, and the big boys snapped up the spare bits.
